My wife's birthday gift

My wife's birthday is approaching, what is the best economical gift I can present her? Please suggest some bright innovative ideas folks.

First, find a few things that she really likes, but would never buy for herself. Things that maybe she doesn't know you know she likes.

Her favorite scent in a scented candle, a piece of jewelry she likes, a favorite DVD she doesn't yet own, or something related to her favorite hobby or talent.
If she's a poet, add a pretty quill pen. If she rides horses, some saddle soap. If she's a doctor, some really comfortable shoes or something.
The idea is to show her that you know her well, and pay attention.

So collect these items, and make a gift basket out of them. Generally, women like to open gifts, so wrap them all individually with matching, but different colours of tissue paper. Tie them with ribbons and make the basket pretty.

To finish it, maybe get her a gift card to the restaurant you two like best, and tie it to the outside of the gift basket, like on the handle. When she opens that part, ask her if she would accompany you to insert name of restaurant here, then let her open the rest of the gifts.

If this doesn't make her happy, you either don't know your wife at all, or she's a jerk, haha.
