Take your time. Remind yourself of things that you can smile about. Treasured memories you can keep forever.

Im sorry for your loss. You will be fine things make you sad now but remember the things that made you smile or laugh, I have been listening to songs to help get past the death of my husband like the climb form miley sirus and the one song everything is going to be ok(ill be fine without you) just dont get too down in the dumps there is no pain for him and remember that we all have to take those steps someday some earlier than others but we all go down that path...I always like the saying remember a grave is only the footsteps of a spirit traveling on, I hope you find peace and comfort.

my grandad dies 8 years ago and I still miss him.. tbh I think about him all the time.. not a day goes by when I dont.. I was 7 when he died, and it is so hard..

I actually cry a lot because I miss him, and so much crap has happened in my life recently, and I know that if he was around still he would make it better.

just think, he is not in any pain anymore... Rest In Peace x

Let yourself feel your feelings...hurting, crying, feeling the grief of loss are ALL normal and natural. There are no shortcuts in healing...time is always the true healer. Your memories will keep him close to your heart...in essence he will continue to live thru you...

I'm very sorry for your loss...it hurts I know.

just let it pass.
crying, writing, talking to someone helped me a lot. I agree with phrannie, there are no short cuts. ):
just know your grief will eventually become peace. just know he's in a better place.
