What can i take to help my throat?

My Throat is killing me, it feels dry and red raw. i have drank lots of water . But its still sore think its going to develop into a cold. Any ideas on what to take to help it??

For minor sore throats try gargling warm salt water (1 tsp sea, Kosher, or canning salt to 1 pint water) twice a day. Products like Chloroseptic can make you more comfortable by deadening the pain.

For bad sore throats or ones that don't go away on their own in a few days see your doctor.

Try a hot honey and lemon drink. Put about 2 teaspoons of honey in a cup, boiling water,then top with lemon juice.I always have that when I get a really bad throat.

garlic is a natural anti-biotic,,, if i have a sore throat i have some toast with marmite and cover in garlic slices. it's always gone the next day

or the usual, honey lemon etc
try gargling with soluble aspirin

yeah i was going to say drink a ginger lemon tea with honey as a sweetner. it really helps =]

i would try the honey thing and gargling the warm salt water. also caugh drops help A LOT! lol,i usually like the fruit breezers ones,i could eat them like candy lol. taste good. diff flavs. if it's really bad,i know you're not gonna like this but nyquil.lol worste tasting med ever,but it works. hope that helps

drink hot water with salt in it...like alot of salt to where u can see it at the bottom
