I am a very concerned parent that is very concerned about my daughter. She is only THIRTEEN years old and she has had oral sex. She was talking to her boyfriend on the phone the other day and I heard her say [She was in her bedroom and I was by her door...

cause I was about to ask her something, I had not been listening in to the whole conversation.] I really love what we've been doing lately, It's really satisfying. And then after a pause she said Your cum tastes great, don't worry. I was so speechless after hearing her say that I ran down to our basement and started crying. I was so in shock she would do that, she is a nice girl and I don't understand why she did that. I want to know how I should confront her because I've been too in shock to confront her about it. What do you think about a thirteen year old having oral? To me it makes my stomach sick.

Well It's noramal to want to be / think about being sexually active at thirteen years old.
But you should talk to het about the dangers of having sex and oral sex, About STDS and such.
And also talk to her about the ways you an prevent getting preganat.
Such as putting her on birthcontrol. Talk about comdoms.
But I think that you should say at the send of all this... If you ever decide to do any of this tell me so we can get you on birthcontrol pills to keep you from getting preganat.
That will make her feel more confortable that your not on her back and going to scold her. But through the whole taling about sex and such act like you dont evn know, and see if she comes out and tells you that she has done this.

okay I am 18 and the first time I gave oral I was 17. My mom still doesn't know about it but if she ever did hear me say it I think I would rather her eek in slowly and say , hey I was watching something on T.V. about teens having oral sex and how it's the new rage. ask her opinion on it. get her to start talking about it. don't be scared to talk to her about it. That will make her feel uncomfortable.

unfortunantly kids these days are getting involved with sexual things a lot younger than they really need to be
while a 13 year old doing it is young, and while she should have some sex education first before she starts doing anything
at least thats all it is right now, just oral
hopefully she hasnt had sex yet
as a mother its part of your job to provide her with some sex education
because lets face it, school isnt teaching them anything they need to learn
I would suggest you to have a talk to your daughter
when shes alone come in her room and tell her youd like to have a talk with her
tell her about how you accidently overheard her talking and your concerned
(like any parent would be)
then tell her that youd like her to come to you if she has any problems, and tell her your here for her if she needs to tell you anything or ask you anything
with a boyfreind and all, and with kids thinking everyone else is doing it telling her to stop would probably only make her rebel
so the best thing you can do is tell her your there for her if she ever needs to talk
and that youd like to have a talk about what you overheard
then give her the talk, the sex talk
yes it might be a bit young but if shes getting sexually active , no matter what age she is, shell need to learn about the risks involved and the consequences that can come out of it
and thats part of your job
to give her the talk, maybe tell her about your first time while your there to help her open up to you, and tell her about how you can catch stds from oral sex, its okay to wear a condom, she doesnt have to do anything she doesnt want to, its okay to say no, ect
she might find it a bit embarrassing but she needs to learn this all before she keeps going, and hopefully shell be more open to you about it and will feel like she can talk to you about anything shes doing and ask you for help
its okay to get mad though, because no mother really wants her kids getting sexualy active when they only just became teenagers
unfortunantly though, a lot of those kids are, mainly because of the media
(sex is in everything from tv adds, movies, music videos, magazines, ect)
sex education is an important thing that most kids and teens lack today
which is why a lot of them end up pregnant or/and with stds
so if you can give her that, you can help her out a lot
and hopefully shell help you out by talking about it and asking for your opinion/help

you need to take away the thing she loves the most...ask her why is she doing this...get enrolled in therepy...and tell her its not ok to do this type of stuff...then try to keep a close eye on her tell her until you can gain she can gain your trust back she is grounded...if she steps out of line take her in front of the judge...and what happens from there..

I don't think haveing oral sex is good for a 13 year old. And I am one, I've never done that before. It's probably pressure. I don't think it really matters what way you confront her about it because she'll probably be mad that you even listened. But she might get over it. I hoped I helped :D

Ok well all these people are saying dont let her see him ever again... your daughter would NEVER forgive you for that. you have to find another way to get through to her...

I was sexually active at 13 and my mum had the same reaction, well not the same she didnt cry but still the same, she sat me down and gave me a good talking to, not that I listened, I was 13 so I was just horny and did what I want, most teenagers are the same. All you can do is sit her down and talk to her about it, you cant stop her and if you do it may make it worse.

a concerned parent like you would ofcause be in fear. but these days. sex for kids is getting younger and younger. Hundreds of THOUSANDS of girls and boys lose there virginity at 13. some even 12. the best thing you can do is warn her about the dangers of sex and std's and what 80% of guys JUST want to do with girls. how they use and abuse young girls. just tell her its best if she waits. and if you cant talk to her about this. see if you can get her school counseller too. there experienced enough to handle these sorts of cases. ofcause she'll most likely be too stubborn to listen if she loves the guy shes doing this with. but its best to try. and if you cant.

Okay, first of all you are not a bad mom or anything because your daughter is doing this. You cant keep kids locked up at that age but most mom's know where their kids are so I'm just curious...has she maybe been lying to you about where she is and who shes with? Because you dont say anything about you knowing she had a boyfriend or anything. And if shes doing that with a guy she doesnt even know then thats so much worse.

She clearly didnt use a condom so if that guy has any STDs she could have possibly contracted them too. So you should bring her to get tested.

When I was her age I had just had my first proper kiss and if a girl did that that I knew I would think she was a sl*t. My little sis is 13 and if I heard her say that on the phone I would tell my mom straight away. Im 18 now, I cant imagine any 13 year old I know doing this.

Talk to her, tell her you are bringing her to the docter to get tested for STDs and tell her you are disappointed in her ( a parent saying they are disappointed was always a lot worse than saying they were mad, to me. If they said they were mad I just got mad too)

Personally, I don't think that 13 year olds should be dating in the first place. They're much too young for that.

she might have just been joking around with her boyfriend or something. although... kids (like me) hate to admit this but we act nothing like our parents think we do. I know that at least three people in my class are probably not virgins anymore (not including me) but lets face it social standards are going down. especially for women. I mean 100 years ago we didn't even show our legs around men and now 9 year old are wearing bikinis!

To be honest shes not the only 13 year old doing it so really dont be to freaked out
it is horribil to find out that shes doing that but talk to her just be alm about it.
To be honest you really carnt stop her from seeing the boy and if you do shes just going to be rebelious so talk to her and let her no about STIs and make sure she has everthing she need to be safe '

okay, I would not confront her about it, because that will make your relationship with her worse. I would leave it alone, for a couple weeks, you don't want to seem like your invading her privacy.
