How to get over my teacher embarrassing me in class?

My teacher totally yelled at me for asking him a question about an assignment. He was like ' I TOLD YOU NOT TO ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS!' and everyone in the class was starring at me. I was soo hurt and embarrassed. Now, I dont even want to go to his class. and I keep replaying the same embarassing moment in my head. What should I do?

Stop caring. It's really no big deal.

It will eventually get off of your mind.

You should know that's not a good thing for a teacher to do. Do your classmates understand that?

Thats horrible. I am a teacher myself and would never embarrass a student in front of other students. You should ALWAYS be able to ask a question about an assignment no matter what time it is. Honestly, your parents should talk to him or the principal about it.

Our schools are teaching the future leaders, and the classroom should always be a safe haven in the storm.

Don't worry about it! Teachers do become stressed sometimes and will snap. Take no notice of it. When you next go to that lesson just be cool.

Of course you should be able to ask a question. Teachers are there to guide you through your learning so why should you not be able to ask a question? Talk to your parents about it or another teacher.

just know that your NOT the only one!! like I've been embarased a milloin times in class. I dont do anything.I just go with it. oh and if someone says something about it, just say oh I forgot he said that and stuff...

I agree with the teacher's comment. I am a teacher as well and it was unprofessional for him to yell at you. Please understand that teacher sometimes make mistakes too. Believe it our not(smile)

I would meet with him before class to let him kow how you are feeling. It is always bestto speak yo teachers before or after class when other students are not around. Be polit when you talk to him and just express yourself. this is the way to start dealing with resolving issue on your own. It shows a sign of maturity.

If that doesn't work, let your parents know that you want to conference with the teacher and remember to document everything.

Don't ever let anyone make you feel like you don't want to go to class. It's your education!!!

my opinion is to talk to your teacher and say im sorry and tell him he didnt have to yell at you like that an it embarresed you trust me been there done that lol

Teachers are like that. Maybe he was just having a bad day
