How do I deal with overprotective brothers?

I have 3 older brothers..yay lucky me right, wrong?! I cant go outside or even mention a guys name without them freaking out..I really like this guy whos name is Ryan but I dont know what to do about them because if my brothers knew about Ryan they'd like hunt him down and interrogate him..so do you guys have any tips for me about this siutation? Any..I'm so desperate I'll take anything!

girl you sound like me!! you think 3 is bad try liveing with 5 brother's and 3 play brother's and a mom that's the same way!! but anyway , you'r bro's just care about you !! but im not sayin that it's far to you !! im just sayin, so you can just tell them ' I need some space, I love you'll but I have to breath, you'll have to trust me, I wont do nothing stupid!! ' hope it work's out for you!!

Tell them you really appreciate their caring and concern but they don't need to smother you with it - assure them, 'Believe me, if I need you, I'll call you and won't hesitate'

alright I'll try thanks so much..god Im so desperate..there so freakin brotherish..and I also have 3 older step-brothers from my daddys previous marriage and now there coming to stay with us for the summer.

I know how you feel. My three older brothers do the same thing. Everytime I say a guys name the three questions pop up. 1. Who is he? 2. Are you going out with him?, and 3. Where dose he live?..So just talk to them. Tell them you know what not to do, you know the limits, and if something was to happen you would let them know first.
