My story

Ok I have always had a things about vampires Pirates and always had trouble starting ym story but now that twilight is out they would think I would be trying to copy her idea can some one help me! and mabe another idea of a school fantasy story ..

The idea is to get as far away as possible from Stephenie Meyer's vampire series. Discard that idea completely.
You obviously don't have any idea, or not nearly enough of an idea to start a book now.
From what I've seen of vampire stuff is all cliche and it's getting old. It's getting annoying.
Writing a good, likable vampire book now will be tough.
I suggest going with something about pirates.
Start by getting a blank page and writing all of your ideas in your head really fast. As fast as something comes up, write it down! Even if it includes vampires. These ideas could be about anything. A character, a setting, a conflict, a theme, etc.
Example...

Mrs. Brande is the neighbor who always yells at her cat and has a garden. She has grey hair and is really short and grew up in the 60's. Her son lives with her and he's bald and he's in his 40's. They sit outside on an old porch a lot and it's really weird.

That was random... Nonetheless you get the point :D

As in Twilight is the girly version of vampires and you are more into the nitty gritty more realistic stuff?
Ya know in a perfect world vampires would sparkle.
