best friends Asked by lifeseeker42 2 months ago, 11 answers.

whos patience are running out by continually fixing everyones problems? I love this site but sometimes I have to pull myself away because it depresses me. I love helping people but its so sad at the level of kids who have never been taught the things they are so curious about. ugh... I feel exhusted!!! anyone feel this too?

Yes, we all have to replenish... When you give and give, you will become exhausted and empty, if you don't do things to regenerate your self.

A walk in the woods or by the lake.

Nature is very envigorating.

Quiet, peaceful music.

A good book.

Prayer.

We have to balance our lives, and if we don't, burnout is the result.

The more we push ourselves, the less ability we have.

If we take time to rest and relax, and enjoy ourselves, we will refill where we have more to give.

Blessings...

It would be so much easier if we could set up our own individual filters. I would screen out the phrases:
Miley Cyrus
Jonas Brothers
Am I cute/ugly/fat/skinney
American Idol
Grandtheft Auto

I an NOT saying that these are bad questions (well maybe the 'Am I cute, etc.' one is), just that I am never going to answer them.

Hmmm. Maybe that filter idea is worth looking at.

Yeah sometimes I get tired, or very very irritated (especially at the ignorance some people display), but I fig it's good practise for the future, I'm going to have to listen talk about stuff like this all day long...

I get tired of reading 'help underage and pregnant what to do!'

it just reminds me of how bad the younger generation are and how they dont know a LOT of things
the one question I was astounded by was 'does my virginity protect me from STD's'

also some of the things people with no real intention of giving help say
like for eg. 'what? I dont know!'

bimjob,

We have already begun banning questions that say 'am I cute/pretty/sexy/ugly' but only by manual deletion. So if you catch one we didn't get, let us know!

As for the others...well, they're legitimate Except if people are asking for phone numbers/email addresses of Nick Jonas/Miley Cyrus/etc. We delete those too.

ya it gets pretty bad. the only thing that bothers me are the younger generations questions. I seriously stop sometimes and just go dam, are they really that stupid. I know I've helped people on this site, thats why I like it. But for every one person I help, 4 more ask the same question. just can't keep up, it is exhausting. luckily im at work anyway and have nothing better to do
