What is my one and only afraid of?

I've finally found out what he really thinks. The day that I moved I talked to the guy that I love. I asked him to be strait up and tell me if he ever loved me. He said that he did but when he found out that I was moving he kind of squashed that. He kept tearing and telling me to stop making this harder then it already is. He told me to find someone better, to find someone who loves me as much as I love them. I asked him why he loved me and yet never asked me out. He said that he didn't know. What was he afraid of? Was he still worrying about losing me? I love him so much. Should I go back and get my man? Also what does it mean when a guy stares into your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes and says nothing? And the only thing he'll say is that he's thinking?

He's thinking. simple. about you. it's a huge compliment in an abstract sort of way. thinking about you, his future, if that involves you, his memories, his dreams, his fears. everything that has to do with you. it sounds like he really cares about you. If you love him, you should try to be with him. I'm sure he'll never be happier. but he'll probly also say not to make sacrifices on his account, but do anyway. If you love him, it'll be a worthwhile sacrifice. Best of luck
