Ok, my mp3 player fell into water and eveything works
but the screen won'tt turn on
What happened and
what should I do?
do I need to get a new one
and let me tell you this was a present for me from my parents
for my good report card

well if it's an ipod and you got a plan or w.e you can trade it in for a new one I don't think you have to pay for it my friend laurzie did it and I don't think she had to pay the people plus her ipod wasn't even broken she just wanted a new one.

Take it apart and give it a couple of days to dry out and see if it works then... I have had this happen with a cell phone and my screen started working the next day, so I'm guessing that it was because it was still wet.

Same thing with my cell phone. I took out the battery and then I dried it with a hair dryer and it worked the nexy day. I did the same thing with a mp3 and my friends ipod. The mp3 was screwed and the ipod still worked.

my ipod got washed and it wouldnt work for about 2 weeks. give it time to dry out. dont plug it in to anything for about two weeks or so
