How to stop my mother from being so controlling?

my mom doesn't let me do anything im in high school and she still trys to pick out wut I wear and wut kind of shoes I have and I can't have a boyfriend till im a jouner thats in three years how can I stop her madness for power without breaking her heart???

She just doesn't want you to go out and get preg.. my mom is like that too... I have the same problem but I told my mom that I wasn't a baby and I could pick out my own style and I need to be myself... SHE HAD ME IN PINK!!! I HATE PINK!!! no adfense if you like it.. but just tell her how you feel I dont think her heart would break over you wanting to be yourself.

Someday you will thank your mom for being the way she is. At least she cares. Most parents today dont care what their teenagers are doing, and thats really sad. You dont need to get messed up with boys just yet. Go out and have fun with your friends. Theres plenty of time to have a boyfriend. If that is their rule about dating, then your just going to have to abide by it.

As far as your wardrobe, just tell her that your a big high school girl now, and if you need her help putting something together, you will ask her.

You have a parent, being a parent - many, many, many, out there don't - be thankful - obviously looking after your best interests because she Loves you and wants the best for you - don't break her heart - she's a great Mom...Take care !!

Hey, I'm 13 and I no how you feel. she dont let me wear make-up, she wont let me go out like to town with my friends, she wont let me have a phone, she wont let me have a boyfriend, she wont let me dye my hair black, and its really annoying. She picks like, all my clothes and shoes for me, and most of it ends out to be PINK. and my fav colour is BLACK. pink is like ... eww.
