My money tree is sick!

I have a money tree and lately the leaves have started to turn yellow and develop holes in them. More weird is that all the leaves are producing a lot of sap. Its new growth dies when it used to grow out of control. We did have a bug problem and used a house plant spray and the bugs have been gone for several weeks but it is still getting sick. All my other house plants look fine after the bugs and the spray. What should I do?
