My mom wont let me shave but i need to. help!

My mom says I dont need to shave but I need to my legs are black and 2 people told me I need to shave. What do I do to convince her but I cant sneek a razor. Please help me now!!!

I agree. My mother wouldn't let me start shaving till I was 12 years old, so I feel your pain honey. What I did was is I set down and hashed it out with my mom and came to a happy meeting in the middle. She let me use nair and the hair-removal lotions. Actually, I reccomend those over shaving anyways, especially the Veet Razera; it keeps my legs smooth at least two weeks before I get stubble. Nair burned my legs really badly, and I follwed the directions to the tee, so I don't reccomend that if you have sensitive skin. Maybe suggest to your mom another option like waxing or the Veet, maybe that will changer her mind.

USE THOSE LOTIONS LIKE NAIR AND STUFF AND IT WILL COMKE OFF NO NEED FOR RAZOR AND IT LOOKS LIKE LOTION SO SHE WONT KNOW UNLESS SHE READS IT

not telling you that to tell your mom in a disrespectful way...cause its your mother!! but its your body and I think you need to do whats right for you! dont let people tell you what to do or how to live your life!! but before you think about that...how old are you exactly? and what kind of advice did your mother tells you...how did she said it? no you cant shave cause your too young?' I don't know, but just have a sit and talk to her and tells her how you really feel...regardless I think your going to do it not today or tomorrow, but in the long run you will anyways :-)

I asked my mom if I could use nair but she said your not ready for that I asked her when can I use it and when am I ready she said when you have hairy legs -_-
I want to use nair pretty the spray bottle product but it seems my mom is in my way so its like I cant grow up. Plus I cant drive! so eany way I cant get it. My hairy legs are a pain in the neck! I need more help

I have hairy, hairy legs and arms (for arms it's thin hsir so, I don't mind) but my legs weretoi noticible for hairs. Back in the Philippines, boys love looking at women with hairy legs. But here in the north america some countries in europd just disgusts it. so, ii wanted to shave mine. I sneaked behind my parents' backs shaved with an eyebrow shaver(you would use it to have your eyebrows) it was amazing. Until my parents found out, were really angry disappointed. But that was last year, this year, last month... I sneaked again to shave. my mom found out that I shaved my legs because I was asking if I could shave my legs she asked me if she could see my legs--- BUSTED. And I told her the reasons why I want to remove unwanted hair it's because of people staring at me, with disgusting looks on their faces and just was disgusted at my hairy legs. And it annoyed and made me cry the night they teased me. I told her my reasons how she has unnoticible hair and apparently my sis has unnoticible hair too, meaning they have really, really THIN, hair. My friends would ask me, does my sis shave because her legs are so shiny. I would say no , because she really has THIN hair and she had those genes from my mom. sadly I have the genes from... my DAD. My dad's hair is like a gorilla's hair despite that news, I have his hair ): I explained to my mom, that you sis are really lucky! dad's a man! NOT a woman. sexist, I know ): she finally UNDERSTOOD me. She works in a 24 hour drug store asked her co-worker pharmacist which would be better for my legs. because the legs that I have shaved are honestly, coarse darker than before. Please, I beg you DON'T shave. Please, this is coming from a 13 year old girl. Anyway, her co-worker said, waxing would be thr BEST. It would thin, and makes your hair softer and doesn't grow for about 2-4 weeks-- a month. And it thins it out. so when my mom arrived, she told me to just wax my leg hair. I fully did not want to do it. But I was afraid of bring teased again when it's summer already! so I cried before the waxing session, I SWEAR TO GOD(sorry for using God's nMe in vain) but it didn't really hurt. Yeah, it stings--- a little but in the end, I was veeery happy with the results. They also used threading also because I have scrapes that are healing and its scars are really light, thanks to a favourite for filipino users--- Sebo De Macho. Ihe threading also didn't hurt that much. I cried for no reason, I let my fears take over my brain and body.

If you're a first timr user like me, I advice that you tryit! I just waxed yesterday evening. They adviced to me not to take a shower/bath in hot water only warm or cold because the pores are still open. please don't shave, my mom's co-worker a pharmacist adviced my mom not to shave my legs because some pores in your legs will grow 3 hairs. Not one. it's faster, expensive (because you'd have to use/buy a razor every 3 days to avoid disinfection shaving can cause you cuts, nicks and leads you ugly legs to be looked at.

I KNOW you CAN GO TO ONE OF your FRIENDS HOUSE AND ASK HER IF SHE CAN GIVE you A RAZOR OR SHAVE your LEGS THERE your MOM WONT NOTICE AND you WILL HAVE CLEAN HIRLESS LEGS

Hey, I'm in the same situation. My mom wouldn't let me shave and I'm 16. I kept begging her for years. Finally, when I was sixteen, I bought the nair hair-removal lotion. I was able to hide it from her because I kept it under my bed and ran it to the bathroom and showered when she wasn't around. That way, she could never catch me with nair. I also suggest finding clear little lotion bottles, you can pour the hair-removal lotion in that. Pick a fragrancy one, so she'll believe you too. I found a really good one called Aloe Lanolin from Nair. So just a suggestion. But my luck, those got confiscated at the airport. When I went to cammp, my roommate showed me this razor and gave me all this advice. Now I'm happily shaving with a razor, and my mom has no clue. =]
