Well I am 15 and will be having my boyfriends baby in december when I will be 16 and he will be 18. My mom keeps on telling me NOT TO GIVE THE BABY HIS LAST NAME UNTIL WE ARE MARRIED. Give him my last name then when I marry my boyfriend I can easily...

change the last name. She said If I dont I will be setting myself up for a heartbreak. I dont get it. And his mom is telling everyone that when the baby is born she will be taking me to court for visitation or even custody. She is telling people that she will try to take him from me and say I am an unfit mother. I HATE HIS MOM. Lol. I personally dont want her to see my son ever but it will be her grandson so I have no choice. Can she really take me to court for custody or visitation...? Even if I am a good mom could she take him from me? And what should I do about a last name? My boyfriend will get mad if he doesnt get his last name. But I want the baby to have my last name JUST INCASE I dont marry my boyfriend. What should I do??

Have both last names? Yours then his or his then yours..you can have both..atleast here you can..

I had a baby when I was 16 now im 29. I gave my little girl my last name. To mme it's no biggie. Just as long as the baby is healthy. If you want the child to have your mlast name im all for it.
