My mom again

Part two (which happened today late afternoon). I went to the 99 cent store today. I bought 7 clothing (tops) items for me. and three blouses for my mom. my mom loved the 10 items, but then the following conversation took place

Voterperson: “mom here are a few others I want to show you I brought two days ago”
Mom: “i don’t like this one, and this paisley one looks like someone wore it, it looks washed”
Voterperson: “i don’t care that it is washed or worn before, it is still beautiful”
Mom: “i wont wear anything that someone else wore, it could have been on a corpse, you don’t know where it has been”

Then later that night
Voterperson: “mom are all you saying is that you wont wear anything that is worn”
Mom: “yes, I would never tell you what to buy”

I didn’t care if my mom didn’t like something, but the comment about the paisley top bothered me.

Conversation this morning:
Mom: “voterperson, do you think I should wear at his today”
Voterperson: “that looks too big for you”
Mom: “thanks”
Then about 15 minutes later:
Mom: “how about this - do you think I should wear this”
Voterperson: “mom - that is dressy for today”
Mom: “voterperson the blouse you are wearing the neck looks big”
Keep in mind I didn’t finish getting ready. I went to the mirror and fixed the collar.
Voterperson: “mom how does it look now”
Mom: “better, you did not have the collar lined up right”
Then when I dropped my mother off at work
Voterperson: “how does it look now”
Mom: “i told you about 15 times it looks fine”

And after I dropped my mother off at work and then came home I tried on all the blouses I brought at the 99 cent store, one needs a snap at the neck otherwise they are fine. however in my mind I start to think is my mom going to say that about every blouse. however, keep in mind I put on the blouse without fixing the blouse.

Yes you are. Dont listen to what she has to say about your clothing. You are a diferent generation and wont have the same tastes.

Here is my question: Am I overreacting to my moms comments. IT really bothers me
