How to tell my mate she should lose weight?

ma mate is over weight and I don't know what to do to tell her.. it seems so hurtful and when ever she wears anything she looks really quite large?? I can't tell her about how she looks really.. it seems so tight..

how about u pretend that u want to start like a healthy living thing and say 'ugh im so rubbish at dieting' and then maybe be like 'why dont we do it together and support each other'

jst ask her if shel go swimmin or 2 the gym wiv u atleast once a week..

u could try goin on a diet wiv her so she dusnt feel fat on her own!

Well, it may not even be up to you to express your concerns with her physical appearence. So take make sure it's something that's accurate before you approach her about it. And you have to think of it. If you were in her position, would you want your mate to tell you if you didn't look good in something? How I see it, is that I would rather a friend or loved one tell me about it rather than some stranger (because we all know how mean and brutal people who don't know us can be about that sort of thing). Just tell her what you think and inform her of your concerns-- not just the physical aspects but also concerns for her health and general well-being.

invite her to do physical stuff with u, like swimmin or biking or ice skating or somthing on a regular basis. or if its the fact her clothes are to tight offer to take her shoppin.

Well I really don't know what to tell you but if you really like her the way she is accept her like that cause what matters is in the inside...

Ignore red rose mafia. Thats not advice. She is just trying to make herself feel better. Anyways... I would take Neros advice on this one. I dont want to type the same thing so I agree with Nero.

Thats a really tough one! you have her intrest in heart but telling her could go either way! she might thank you for telling her strate or she could get really upset/mad!. If you choose to tell her be careful on how you tell her though you dont want her turning anorexic or anything and you deff dont want to fall out over it!!
