How can I deal with my boyfriend in jail?

My boyfriend is in jail for a year. This has never happened to me before and I just want to talk to someone that understands what I'm going though if you know what I mean .. so can you please tell me more things to do .. To make time go faster !! And to .. not become depressed?

well if my boyfriend was in jail, id make a list of things that we could do when he gets out,you know the old times 'we' had before he went to jail, and I would write to him, but if you cant then I know its corny but you should right the note anywayz and dont send it and wait till he gets back, everyday, I mean if you r really in love and really miss him id write him everyday, not send it and give it to him when he gets out, write him a poem, he can still be on your mind with out you bein depressed, just keep your head up high girl! ull make it!

Its so hard I keep thinking about him all the time .. I CANT get him off my mind I love him soo much and it just hurts so much to know that hes there you know its hurting me soo much INSIDE I hate this everything I do any where I go I think of him .. !!! I dont know this is just too much I want him OUT now!!!!!!!!!!

Yo girl.. I no exactly how you feel. Next week will be one full year that my mans been locked down. and you aint playin that this gets hard and sooo stressful. you cant enjoy anything cus you always thikin how much better evrythin would be if he was there whichu. But imagine how he feels.. locked ina cell away from evryone he lovesand taken orders from otha guys alll dayevery day but honestly this time has gone by a lot faster than I thought it would- but the beginning is the hardest. you gutta think positive and just think about how happy the 2 of you will be when he gets out. thats what I do when im layin in bed at night in a ill depression I try 2 think bout how the future will be wit him, and how strong this will make our relationship. this is the biggest test you could have in a relationship and if you make it thru this you can get thru ANYTHING. if its meant 2 be it'll be. well girl I wish you nuttin but the best and just remember ure man WILL eventually b home one day and evrything will be back 2 how it used2 be

I know how your feeling. Im 16 and my 18 year old boyfriend just got put in jail about a week ago. He could be in there for up to 10 years. It seems that ever since he got put in jail, all the things I loved to do are things I hate now.

I have no idea. my boyfriend got picked up yesterday and I'm having a hell of a time with it. I've been separated from my husband for about a year now. my x was always lying to me about girls, my boyfriend loves me and would never cheat on me, but I feel so deserted and I can't imagine going through this again. I think my brain is telling me to not take him back whenver it is he may get out... we have to stay strong. I'm sure you've hear that, I'm telling myself that. I write, watch tv, cry, then do it all over again. I haven't found the strength yet to leave the house. good luck. what I learned from my failed marriage is that life's short, and when our head tells us what to do we need to find the strength to follow through. I'm just waiting for my head to make up it's mind
