My kitty is puking a lot

Hi,
My cat has been puking once every few days for the past week, more often than she usually does. I came home from work today ... and her fur on her chest was stained with green. After I cleaned her up I found her puke on the carpet. It was a dark...

greenish color. I'm scared. She's looking normal, playing, eating, sleeping well. But I recently changed her canned food from friskies to fancy feast. Is that why she's been puking or should I bring her to the vet?

I bet it is definitely the change in food - that was the first thing I thought of when I saw your title. When you switch cats from one food to another you need to do it gradually. Start with mixing in 1/4 of the new food with 3/4 of the other food for one week, next week do 1/2 and 1/2, third week do 3/4 new food 1/4 old food, fourth week all new food. Cats can have sensitive tummies and switching food with no preparation like that can mess them up.

But as to why your cat is trying to throw up more I have no idea.

Maybe, because cats moult through summer it was because of that, the cat was getting hot and eating more of its hair while licking itself and then had to throw up more to clear its throat
