My hair is dropping like crazy.is it because I straighten my hair o

ok so my hair is naturally thick,wavy and frizzy so I straighten it.(not with a professional straightener so it takes me a while to straighten it)and lately I noticed that my hair is dropping a lot and I am getting really scared what should I do?can I keep on straightening it?plzzz help me
p.s.my dad told me my hair is dropping because with the heat from the straightener it would kill my hair cells.is this true?

yes that is true. I straighten my hair all the time. to but I protect it.
you need to go to a grocery store or a drug stores and go by the hair products, at get this stuff (by V05, or tres emme) its called something like heat serum. you spray it on your hair. and then it protects your hair from being damaged.

I straighten my hair everyday & went to the hair dressers yest. she sed its not too damaged but to just straighten it everytime you wash your hair, so just do it every two days. heat protector is a must have though!
