How can I get us to stop fighting?

We love each other and not too long ago I proposed to her and she said yes. I asked her after we were fighting a lot and we still fight. I dont know why. I used to be able to make her smile all the time with no problem, but now I can barley keep her from trying to kill me. we fight about little things that dont matter. when ever we talk at night we end up fighting and she tells me that im not trying to understand her and not trying to make things better...I work my a$s off everyday for this girl and she doesint notice anymore. I need to know what to do, I cant lose this girl, yet, to me shes perfect. I still want to marry her and I still love her as much if not more then when I first met her.

If she says that your not trying to understand her, and you don't quite grasp the concept of her argument just agree with her to avoid conflicts and what not. Agreeing usually helps because if there are 2 sides to a story, there is a push and pull method that can lead to a conflict. So yeah, nod and smile lol.

I suggest you get some conciling before marriage it it will be a short marriage. . . Sounds like some toning is needed on both ends of the relationship. Often the thing to do when you love someone is to say " May I think about that for awhile?" instead of pressing your point.
