errmm.. this is a tough one lol, tell your mate that you really liked him and hopefully she'll understand, but if she is not havin it, go behind her back and try to get a date wid him, flirt with him... talk 2 him then tell him how you feel then walk away dramatically like in a love film, then hope he tries to contact you agen lol. thats wot I did, but the other way round because im a guy
