My friend just died...

I knew this guy most of my life.
he has lived on my block since I was five.
he is the sweetest guy ever and knows what to say and he never betrayed me.
I was very close to him and he was always nice to my friends.
I just recently started liking...

him.
but today at school I found out that he died in his sleep.
he wasnt sick, he was very healthy, I talked to him the day before and every day before that.
and then I found out from my best friend that he told her that he wants me to be his girlfriend and he was going to ask me out when summer starts.
I would have said yes...
and I just thought he didnt come to school because he was sick, but no...
me and my friends are uncontrollably sad.
we all cried all day a school.
and I wont ever see him again.
a close friend and the guy who would have been my boyfriend...

I am so sad...
I need ideas on how to feel better, please.

You have my sympathy. You can't feel better instantly; you have to greive a little. Time will eventually heal your emotional wound. All you can really do right now is talk to people. You can talk to me if you like; I'll listen.

Sorry to hear that. But unfortunately, time is the ultimate healer. You can do many things to try and make yourself feel better, but you'll still be sad. Just try to get through everyday and know that he is in a better place and you'll see him eventually.

Sweetie I'm sorry for your loss. The way I get over something is by writing. This may sound weird. I think it would help if you write a letter to him. Write down how he was nice to you and your friends. Your good times with him as if he was going to read it the next day. You need to express yourself and not hold it in. It's when we hold things in they tend to take control of us.

I am so so so sorry. This must be really difficult for you. Sometimes, just going to the funeral and grieving with others is a good way to get all your emotions out. Also, you might want to get your friends together who knew him, maybe after the funeral, get coffee and talk about all the good memories you have of him. Fee better.

thats sad but you cant always grieve about it you dont wanna waste your life wishing on what it could of been

Be with your friends, try to engage yourself in some work.
Just remember your friend wouldn't like to see you sad. So be happy, for him. []
