My friend moved really far away, what should i do?

sending them an e-mail
or talking to them on a social networking site, msn
or a hand written letter
ect

keep in touch and make new friends. I've been the friend to move away about 4 times. Keeping in touch makes them happy and know that you still are good friends. Unfortunatly, you will lose contact, it happens everytime. But its ok, because you will both make new friends.
