Should my friend dump her boyfriend for yelling at her?

My friend wanted me to ask a question for her so here it is:
She has a boyfriend that lives in Ohio and they've been going out for awhile and she really loves him but lately when she gets on AIM to talk to him she says Hi and then he never answers and...

then if she says anything else when he finally talks to her he spends the whole time yelling at her for saying hi and she wants to know why he's doing this and I don't think a guy should yell at his girlfriend for wanting to talk to him. What do you guys think? What should she do?

I have one question. Is it a long distance relationship?

If it is those things cause so many problems. Her boyfriend could have not been having a good day, or maybe he was doing something else. Either way its not right for him to yell because she wanted to say hi. Try calling him and asking him whats wrong. Something tragic could have happened. But don't take it when he yells at you, since you haven't done anything wrong. I hope this helps.

Sounds like he is trying to push her away, maybe push her buttons for yelling at her for stupid petty reasons so she leaves him becos he doesnt want the guilt of leaving her. Tell her to have a serious talk with him, ask him whether or not he still wants to be with her becos if he doesnt just to tell her so she can start moving on instead of being played and yelled at when she has done nothing wrong.
