My fren stole my work, what shud i do?

Our Cat Asked by vickylaw about 1 year ago, 4 answers.

Here's the thing: I spent days perfecting my work, but my roommate just played games and fooled around. 1 day, when I wasnt in my room, he stole my work in my comp, printed it out and handed that to his teacher without editing anything. I didn't know...

anything about that until today when I came across it when cleaning the room. When I confronted him about it, the f*cker said he had no choice and blah blah. Shud I just report him to the teacher? It's not like I am very close to him or whatsoever, and in fact, I hate him. If I talk to the teacher, then he would most likely go around and say some fcuking things about me. Plus, he had always taken my things without my permission, but I tolerated those and warned him not to do that again. This time I think he went too far. What shud I do?

What he did was wrong - he cheated passing off your work as his own - if you give a 'taker' in life an inch, they'll take 100 miles - Report !!

He plagiarized you and in almost all schools that is grounds for immediate removal. Report him and make sure you have proof that it was all your work.

Then from now on, lock your computer. Most computers can be set to automatically lock after a certain period of time of no use, or even laptops can be set to lock when you close them. Check out your settings and make sure you know your password but no one else could. I would write it down and sew it into my bookbag somewhere.
