Do my ex and I have another chance?

Everyone called our relationship a fairytale...until it ended.....Let me start from the beginning ....We was very young when we dated the first time. He was my first love and first kiss even. We was together for about 2 1/2 years....during these years he was picked on by his guy friends because he had a girlfriend but he was strong about it. They called him whipped and everything else.. Our song was I swear and he used to sing it to me all the time...He even asked me to marry him...We was so young and everyone called it puppy love...His boys kept trying to get him to find someone else or to cheat on me because I was in foster care and we did not see each other as often as we wish we could have....Well one day he listened I came to visit him and walked in on him kissing another girl.I was hurt but only showed him anger....I broke up with him and left his house after fighting...For the next year he sent me presents. He even sent me the shirt he wore when he asked me out with roses in hand....but I was still hurting....I forced myself to not reply to his gifts and accept that it was over.....He did not see me for seven years....I always asked about him and everyone said he was always asking about me...Well 7 years pass and I was out of foster care.....I went to visit my birth mother which lives in the same town as he does..I ended up running into his cousin and his grandmother....His grandmother was on the phone with him and told him that I was in town and he told her he wanted to see me...After all those years I still had feelings for him so I was so nervous...I went with his cousin and g-ma to see him and he invited me back..We kept hanging out and then started dating.....Everyone said we was the fairytale couple because after all those years you could still see the love in our eyes....We dated for a while and I moved in with him....One day I had been shopping with my father and came back to him turning blue....I helped save his life and got him breathing again....The hospital worked on him for over seven hours and then he was in critical care for days...I stuck by his side...When he was stable they decided to send him to a different kind of hospital because he had took pills and had taken too many and od'd. Before he left to go to the hospital those words I had not heard in so many years came out of his mouth ' I love you" I knew that I loved him and I told him so....Well he spent 3 wks. at the next hospital...I went to see him and called him all the time....We had serious conversations and we seemed so happy. He told me that he would never do anything to hurt me and he would do anything for me because he was so in love with me...He got out and was placed on Home Confinement...He decided he was going to get his life on track and I was glad...We stayed together another week before he was put in the hospital for pneumonia...the first couple days he sung me I swear and we laughed together and had a good time then the rest of the week....... we acted more like friends than a couple....I felt alone but when we talked about it we both said we did not know why we acted this way....Well while he was in the hospital for pneumonia my belongings was dropped off at my mothers house and so I called him. He told me that the living together thing just was not working and neither was we....he broke up with me just like that.....I figured that we probably would end back together.I decided to leave town and his cousin wanted to come....I decided that this was fine...well during this trip his cousin called to check in with the family and my ex seemed angry and said it was messed up for his cousin to be trying to hook up with me.....and I would never date my exs cousin.....well my ex started dating another girl....but everytime someone talks to him they say he is depressed and they can tell it in his voice when he talks bout this new girlfriend or me.....I was also informed that just a month earlier my ex told everyone that he was thinking of asking me to marry him ....Part of me feels that we may of broke up because he was scared....I don't know what to think....I miss him and love him.....What do you think?

oohhhhhhh wowwwwww!!!! Your relationship was like a fairy tale, lol... well I think that it does sound like he was scared because he knew you guys were getttin really serious, ad that his feelings were gettin to a point that he knew he'd only have 2 be committed 2 u, I mean.. like a true true on my grown man type love, lol, and he might not of known what 2 do... so he broke up with you... but you know that he really loves you... I mean look at it, after all those years he still was tinkin of you... and he sent you presents fa a year, girl I think he's yo soulmate fareal lol.... because people I know would of just moved on and forgot all about you... I think that maybe you and him should have a talk about everything that's happened between you for all these years.. and ask him 2 be real with you about everything and also how does he really feel about you and why did he suddenly just up and break up with you... because frm what you say, it doesnt sound like there is any legitimate answer... and the new girlfriend, she is proly just sumthin he is fukkin around with because she is onli thre 2 temporarily try and fill yo spot, which obviously isnt working.. since he is depressed and all....
