My ex boyfriend said that he was going to hit me

first for all my boyfriend broke up with me about 2 months ago.we have been together for 1 and a half years. The reasons was that first we were seen to much of each other, then it was because he did want to be in a realtionship, and now it is to do with his family.His parents are separated but living in the same house. (I know it is weird but throw). His parents fight a lot as well.I ask him the reason my his parents broke us up he said I will never tell you and you will never know either. I call over to his house about two days ago because he would never answer my calls. We ended up having a big fight. He went a bit psycho at me all I wanted to do was talk to him. He told me get out of my house before I hit you. I am actually frighten of now. He never lost his temper with me before. do you have you any advice you could give me on what I shoud do it would really help me. Thanks

he may just be stressed and need time alone...away or maybe he has a temper problem and you need to be careful.. I would check up on him though but not every day

Be careful and attentive about his (incidental) verbal aggressions. There are terrible belligerent husbands/fathers who were just always fighting type boyfriends.

Stay away from him! Dont call him! If he wants to get in touch w/you so be it, otherwise I would leave him alone!! Sounds like he has some angry problems he needs to deal with!

Sounds like home issues on his side and there's nothing you can do about it, girls must just understand that when a guy asks to be left alone then leave him alone, sounds like he's got allot on his plate but as with any guy after he's relaxed and gotten his "cool" back he'll start thinking about his baby, he will contact you hun just give him his space, if he doesn't then you know it's over...how long must you wait.....you should know the answer to that as it's differant for everyone....as for him saying that he'll hit you, if he was an abusive boy friend you would have known after 1 ½ years don't you think....
