What type of personality does your Pit cross have? Some are more dominant in nature than others...some are more dog aggressive than others...

Frankly, I don't think this is a good mix for an amiteur...both dogs are dominant breeds...both are male...Unless you've handled two dominant breeds at one time in the past, you probably don't have the experience it takes to pull this off.

I think they will get along just fine if you train them to.

well, I work at a local animal shelter, and id say that its probably best to get your dog first by the way, your lucky my fav breed of dog is a pitbull, anyhow id say to let your dog get settled first, wait about a week., then have your dog and another dog you want to introduce, but keep them both on a leash when you introduce them.

I wouldn't want to try it.

Have you considered this?. Those are both big dogs and that is a lot of clean up and food. Not even considering the damage these to could do to each other if they don't get on, or you for that matter.

I have Boxers and my females are strong enough and my male is as gentle as a lamb but as strong as a bull, if he didn't love me as much as he does, I wouldn't have a chance with him if he wanted to get into it with another male
