If a male dog is fixed will he still try to go after a female dog?

At what age did you get him neutered?

I got my male chihuhua done at the age of 3 and when my female comes into season he does try to mount her, good thing is nothing will happen

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't... or I don't think they would.. maybe he grew back... I hear it's very rare yet possible.

Every night, after his dinner, our male (neutered) dachsund becomes amorous, and gives all of his love and attention to our female (spayed) female dachsund---who is less than excited about the entire deal. (:
He never hits the target. :/

it depends on what age you got him fixed at if he already tried to before he got fixed then most likely!

Even though you got him fixed that does not me hes not a guy any more, he still has the urges and they may not be as strong as they were when he was not fixed but he still has them. so don't freak out if he humps a female dog or anything for that mater!!
