does she go to sleep first and then get out later?
we have a 2.5 y/o boy, he doent like staying in bed at first, so we give him a book 2 read and he drops off to sleep when he gets tied
well she have a little cry an then she goes to sleep wiv a bottle an if I dont give her a bottle she wont settle at all an she stays asleep for 2 hours an thats it she comes out ov her room like every 30mins
well if she knows what she doing she will keep on doing it unless you put your foot down my brother used to do the same thing know he has a toddler bed and he dosent get out of it he just lays there because he knows not to get down you have to let your daughter know whos boss
haha yeah will do I've just got to train her to go to sleep wiv out a bottle someone just gave me a sleep report for me to train but thanks a lot for your help x
ok I have a 1 1/2 year old.. she sometimes likes to stay up until like 2 in the morning then what I do now is not let her take naps that long maybe for one hour the most so try to make her stay up most the day and by night she will be tired. try that
she dont sleep in the day she a noisly little begger lol
what time does she go to bed?
try breaking the cycle she is in, keep her up till 8- 8.30 and then put her to bed with out the bottle. They can get into some very frustrating cycles of sleep and awake times. the trick is to get them to sleep at the right times.
I know Im telling you stuff that sounds good on here, but thats what we had to do with our 2 1/2 y/o
Do you give her anything with Caffiene? Chocolate, Cola, Coffee?
well shes been in bed for 25mins an shes still screaming for a bottle what should I do, shall I leave her but how long for ?
you have to be strong and resist giving in to her, she will stop crying and go to sleep eventually
I am a strong believer in the crying method-- that is let her cry for fifteen mintues. After that check and see if something is wrong. If she is fine and keeps crying then repeat this. Eventually she will learn you will not give her extra attention and she will cry herself to sleep.
If she gets out of bed almost every night, there is a solution, but I must warn you that it is NOT easy. If you try the book thing and it doesnt work try this. First, make sure you have a pot of coffee and are prepared for what could potentially be an all nighter. Put your daughter to bed by reading her a book and trying to relax. Every time she gets up you simply pick her up, dont say a word to her, put her in her bed, close her door and go back to your room (you may also want to have a book to read or something throughout all of this). This process could literally take hours (kids are more ruthless than we give them credit for), but eventually the child will realize that she is getting NO attention out of this and will not give up. Odds are it may happen again, but not nearly as often as long as you keep this up.I know this is long but I hope this helped!
I have a 3 year old daughter who does not sleep either its a nightmare I go to my work like a zombie. so I know how you feel.
