My crush broke up with his girlfriend

My crush broke up with his girlfriend... he asked me to hook him up with one of my friends.... which I would do if I didn’t have such a big crush on him. I work with him and it’s so hard. I don’t know what to do. He flirted with me a lot when he was with his ex... Now he just seems sad and not very interested in me. I don’t want to push it. Chances are he doesn’t like me. I would still really like to be his friend, but I can’t seem to find it in me to put my feelings aside. What should I do? Should I try to be his friend? Should I try to be his girlfriend? Or should I just leave him alone all together?

Its hard seeing the guy you like wanting someone else and not wanting you. But as you said, its just a crush, it may go away. So try being his friend becos you do have to work with this guy so you can just cut contact without causing dramas, and if you start ignoring him he may think you are a dramam queen and lose his friendship all together. Just be his friend and see what happens, maybe drop in a flirty comment to him every now and then since you have flirted in the past and take it from there. He could like you since he flirted with you but maybe he is afraid if he rushes things with you it may not work, maybe he just needs a rebound for now (your friend) before he thinks about anyone serious.

try being his friend and see where that takes u. itsbetter to be friends with someone anyways before you hook up wit them. so you get to know them. but also show a lil flirtry side so he gets the point
