Can salons make brown hair blonde in one day?

hey I have brown hair and I want it back to blonde
can I goto the salon and they do that in one day? or do I have to keep going back and getting it lighter in lighter?

depends on how dark it is to start with. if its really dark it will probably take more than one try. you'll see your hair go through different stages. brown to red then orange then yellow and finally white. good luck

Go to a beauty supply stonre (I like sallys) and ask the girls working there what they would do.
I have gone from black to blond no issues, I use quick blue bleach number 40 developer and this little liquid stuff that strips the red out. Sometimes it does take twice to get your hair the right color, so I was suggest dying the hair a lighter blonde then bleaching it.

if its a very dark brown then they would have to strip the colour out but having it light you could go and get it done in one time ... that would be risky ! as it could turn a ginger shade .. ask for highlights and keep re-touching them .. but you have to be paciont! ... I work in toni guy and my advice would be to get the high lights!
