How can i get my boyfriend's mom to like me?

comments about me. Like one time she offered to give me a ride home. i accepted the offer, when she was going to drop me off she said doesn't she know her way home???????(she offered). Well any way when we would talk on the phone she'll start yelling and saying that we are on the phone to much and that we spend to much time together, we are taking our relationship to far.
One time i remember he wanted to ask her something on the phone so he 3-way her and all of a sudden she busted out saying that i have no manners,that im a bitch, and that he listens to whatever I say. After that she called me not knowing that i heard all the things she had to say about me she said that her son was going to lie to me and tell me things that are not tru(like if he's crazy!!!!!!!!!!!). I just don't know what to do. I tried to talk to her again and then she just says horrible things about me. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like this women is just jealous of you, that you have in a sense taken her son away and now is trying to break you both up so she gets her son back. She needs to get over herself and let go. Dont take anything she says into account, she is just on a jealous rage to keep her son close to her as long as possible, but sooner or later when she realises how happy you both are and your not breaking up and you do make her son happy, she will get over it. Just continue being sweet, and actually feel sorry for her becos she is more immature then you and your bf put together!

Okay, so i soo have the same problem as you. Me and my boyfriend have been dating a year and a month now and like you said, his mom was being extremely nice to me at the beginning and then all of a sudden she started saying bad things about me. My advice to you is to tell your boyfriend to ask her what her deal is with you and if he says no..then tell him if he really loves you he would do this for your all's relationship not only between you and him but also between you and his mother.

omg!!! i have the xact same problem too!!!!! the other day i was leaving her house and he was in the car and she said.. he never acted this way before you came around..... and now i feel as if i cant even go into her house with out being embaressed or anything.... so now he spends most of his nights with me.. and i know his mom will get mad sooner or later.. b/c he will never be home

Well, what she said was that she believes you guys are too serious and shouldn't be together. If I were you, I would go and ask her directly how she feels.

I bet you will get some insight in her answer more than just calling you a bitch. He could be a momma's boy who tells her negative things about you--you never know.

First, don't talk to your boyfriend about it. Just go into the kitchen one day and be very polite and nice about it and say, mrs. _____, I know you don't approve of my relationship with your son and I'd like to ask why.

Stay calm and cool and collected. Let her lose it if she wants to, but listen to what she says and don't argue with her.

It could very well be that she is just jealous and mean and has a sharp tongue becauase of it. In that case, I'd consider getting a different boyfriend who's family is respectful of you.
