My boyfriend's in jail

My boyfriend has been in jail for 3 weeks and im going crazy. He got set up and we dont know how to fix it. Some of the charges are not his and some are just not right. Can someone please tell me if a knife is illegal if it is not concealed. and he had no gun in his car but he was charges with one. I just dont know what to do. He is facing up to 3 years in jail and its just not fair. I love him so much and I want to stick by him but I just dont know what to do. Im ony 19 an 3 years is a long time. my friends keep telling me to move on but I dont want to. Somebody please tell me something.

Yes, having a knife is illegal even if it is in the open. He was charge with possession of a gun...false charges...NO...they would have the gun as evidence, this would be required for the charges. Chances are someone else had the gun and wasn't his but since it was his car he has the responsibility of what is in his car and since the person who owned the gun didn't come forward he is the one charged. So he had knife, his friend had a gun and didn't come forward...what kind of boyfriend and friends are these? You have perhaps been given a second chance in life to see that this lifestyle is not for you. That you have been faced with choices. Time to get out of this and get into a life of respect and one that does not include knives of guns. I know it's tough when this is perhaps the lifestyle you have been raised with but it's the ones who get the second chances and get out are the ones who are alive to come back and teach other how to get out and get a life they deserve.

he has knifes because we both like them. Its not used for violence, we go to all kinds of stores and buy knifes with symbols and and interesting designs on them. So the knife wasnt for anything wrong. and the gun wasnt even in his truck it was in this gurls hotel room so he shouldnt be charged with it at all. but I cant leave him, he gave me an engagment ring and we will be getting married soon. He is the one for me...I cant leave him b/c im the only one there for him, his family wont help. I just need help on how to get some charges dropped or how to raise $4,000
