My boyfriend's acting strange

Me and my boyfriend have been going out for a month and things just seem to have changed. We were friends before and when we were friends he was all over me all the time. The first two weeks were great but now he just doesn't talk to me like he used to or even hug or kiss me. We go to the same college and its really hard for me when he has fantstic conversations with everyone else but me. When we talk on the phone he's this amazing guy but in person he doesn't even say hi to me sometimes. I'm the one who always initiates conversation and its getting really boring because I feel like I'm chasing after him. I have tried talking to him but he just doesn't seem to get it.I know I could break up with him but breaking up would just ruin everything, I'd rather have him as a "boyfriend" than no friend at all because he really is a great guy. Please help what should I do.

it would help if you just broke up with him and just told him to be friends casue it would be a lot better casue there problems between you it helps im going through sumthing somewhat like you but yea it would be a whoe lot better if you 2 just broke up and stayed friends and if things get better you can go back out with him
