My boyfriend just dumped me and I like another guy already- is that bad??

Ok I I went out with this guy for about a month and a week. I really did like him. But last friday he dumped me at a football game an we havent really spoken since- because he was a bit of a jerk about it. One of the guys in our group that goes to a different school is REALLY sweet and I really liek him- I even liked him before and during the time my ex- boyfriend and I went out. I KNOW he likes me because he sends little hints and also he always kisses me on the cheek after he hugs me. Am I wrong to say he likes me? I would go out with him and he told all my friends that he is going to ask me- I also think that it is kind of insensitive to ask me out after I JUST got broken up with. He knows I as VERY upset about it- but he is really just like me- ya no "my type" that lingo. I just wonder- is it too soon or am I on the rebound. Although I am totally over the other guy- I just think I should wait a respectable amount of time not to look like a whore or anything- just wondering

look maybe you should go out whith him. BECAUSE you well never now if your x-boy friend goes whith another girl. just go out whith the guy you really like your x-boy friend or your going to be new boy friend???
