What can i do for my boyfriend before he leaves for the air force?

My boyfriend is leaving for basic training for the air force in June. I am completely devastated. I love him so much. We are not officially engaged yet, however, we do plan on getting married shortly after he returns. I am just really upset about him...

leaving! I can't talk to him for 6 weeks, and currently we talk close to 4-6 hours a day. I want to do something really special for him before he leaves. I want it to be a keep sake thing for him. Something that he will like and always remember. Please help me. I need some suggestions of what I can do for him. I've thought about a few things. We don't really have all that many pictures together, because he is not really in to the whole picture thing, but we do have a few. I thought about maybe getting a pillow case made with our picture on it or something like that. What else could I get that could be a keep sake with a picture of us on it. Please give me other suggestions though...I'm stuck and I need help!!!

Well when I think of the airforce I think of planes flying way up high beyond the clouds close to the stars. Aren't the stars at night pretty to look at even when you're alone? See where this is going???????

My fiance went into the navy for his basic training not long ago. I really wouldnt get a pillow case as it wont be allowed. They have set bedding and things like that, he will only get in trouble. I found it hard when my boyfriend first left. I would of thought you could talk to him tho. My boyfriend was phoning home most nights. I think that if you are really that close you shouldnt have to do anything super special as you should be enough for him to think about. Do a nice special meal etc. Dont forget its going to be hard for him to leave you and for him going through the training aswell.
