My boyfriend is in jail dude

My boyfriend is in jail and I dont know what to do... Should I wait around for him to get out, or do I just give up. I am going to visit him on Wednesday, like the visits in the movies... You know...with the phone and the people sit on opposite sides of the glass and stuff...crazy...he could be out in as soon as 3 months, but he might be there for 4 years.... So, Ill be 18 on june 2, hes 21...do I waste my teen years waiting around or just say forget about it...???HELP...I've never been so in love in my entire life!!!

well if your in love with him then I would wait for him but if he's going to be in there for a long time like 4 years then I would put my relationship on hold till he got out but thats just me.

Don't wait. Since your boyfriend is 21, he's already had ample time to date around and experience what it's like to be a teenager in the world of relationships. You'll miss so much if you depend on your boyfriend getting out of jail. Do you really want to be known as the girl who's dating a jailberg? You're young, and I think you'll be missing a lot by waiting for him to get out. Are you sure that your boyfriend will want to be with you forever when he finishes his sentence? Is it worth wasting valuable time in your youth? Being your age was honestly the best time of my life because I had the freedom to date around and experience relationships with different guys. Do you want to sacrifice that part of your life for a guy who's already gotten to experience it? If you think you're love is stronger than his jail sentence, then stick with him (but it must not be if you even have to ask). Just my personal opinion. Hope everything works out in your favor :-)

It depends on how long you have been dating. Do you love him? Does he love you? If yes...then wait.

He should not be worrying about having a girl friend in his situation, leave him, not in a mean way that will make him even more stressed, but it's better this way for everyone, if you stay with him, you will just be wasting your time, he really needs to shape-up.

well my boyfriend is in jail too he got 6 years for drugs, and has been in there before, but not when I was with him. He has done a year already and it has been the hardest thingg I have ever bin thru in my life....BUT, although everyday it feels so hard and it hangs on your shoulders and runs around in your head there is something missing and your hurting so much, you have to make sure you think positive and think evrything happens for a reason!!now I am only 18 and when he gets out I will be 20, but before he went away we wre really really close, too close really for my age. So I have always said that I wished I could have met him when I was older, so now this has given me the chance to do so. And stay with him and build and work on our relationship, we may not have a physical relationship but we sure do have a emotional one since he has gone in there we have become so much closer it may seem daunting that the only way you can speak is a cuple mins on the phone and letters, and visists wre ya cnt even kiss really, however letters are really special becuase you cn express so many things you are not usually able to do when you talk. But neway during these two years he has got left I am just thinking that I can get my life sorted become a stronger person, becuase really this is what tests ya and makes ya stronger in life, becuase nothing can be moire restricing than this. But if you love him then nothing can stop that all of my friends laugh and dont see how I have done this for so long but its not them that have the connection and love from this person, so you can have your life go out and at leats you will always know where he is !!, and personally this has given me the chance to make it up to all my friends hu I fuked off for him when he was out, but all the while I still know I have somebody sitting there hu loves the bones off me, and when you think people hu say lets have a break and see what life can offer and plan to get bk togetehr in years to come it just never happens but this way if you are a strong person you can keep him and have all his love.

JUst remeber it is not only you hu is going thru this there are a lot of women hurting from there partners just being taken away. The way tiume is flying it'l b there in no tyme , but you cant predict what happens in the future, so you cant say whether you will deffo b with him in so many years time but you just have to take each day as it comes it is the only way to get thru this cus thinking to far ahead is too scary. If heis the best thing that has happened to you stick by him and when that day comes when you are togetehr it'll b so magical beciase god cant keep you apart forever, and think aswell I know its hard an annoying when pple say this I get annoyed but just think at least he isnt dead and you can always keep in touch.
