My boyfriend hates me - please help me!

Ok, I need some advice please.

Last night my boyfriend came over to my house, I'd left my laptop in his car so I went out to get it while he waited in my room. I got to his car and thought it would be funny if I moved it down the road, so the next...

day he would think someone stole it! I started the car up and drove alone, but it was really dark and I accidently hit a hard bin! the side mirror fell off and also the bottom dented really bad, and there was a massive mark there. I can actually drive myself, but its so icy and cold at the mo and dark I just didnt see it!!!

Then today I told him while we were driving, he got out the car and looked at it, he was so mad...his car cost him 3 grand and he said that it will be worth f*** all now. he turned around and dropped me off at my house, saying nothing and just looked at me, expecting me to get out of his car, which I did.

Now he wont talk to me, I tried to call him, ove tried to say sorry, but he wont answer and has switched off his phone. we have been together for a year and half and I have never seen him this mad before. I feel he hates me and I hate myself, I was joking around and I ruined everything we ever had.

He is a really nice guy he always tells me he loves me and I feel we had something special, do you think that he will split up with me and never want to see me again or is he just cooling down?

I need some advice, I have tried to call him at least 20 times today and I feel heartbroken.

Please help me!

He'll get over it, just make sure you apologize... That was sort of wrong to do...

I know it was stupid, I regret it sooo much, I wasnt thinking, but I can drive, I have my own car so its not like I thought I would hit it. how long should I wait... do you think I should wait until he calls me, or do I need to keep calling him to show I care... I thought about posting an apology letter...

More like immature...Sorry, but I'm with your boyfriend on this one! Calling him is only going to annoy him more. You need to let him work through it, and if he doesnt, then hopefully you've learned a valuable lesson. *Never mess with a guys most valued possession!!**

Give him some space, cool down and then you can talk things through. Personaly, I think he's over-reacting a bit since you didn't do on purpose and you are truly sorry. If I were you I wouldn't overly feel guilty for what you did. You wanted to play a joke on him but it went wrong. It sucks but it's not the end of the world. He'll be able to fix up his car and sell it again and the important thing is nobody got hurt. Give him a day or two then call him again.

If it were my girlfriend I think my reaction would be more along the lines of jesus christ are you alright?? more than %*£$^% my car! boo hoo things can be fixed but people cannot.
