How can I get my friend to forgive him?

Well I have this really good friend and she WAS going out with this guy (I like this guy. he texted me 'do you want to go out with me' but he did this while they were still going out soooo I said no then he said how about when I break up with her. Then I told him it depended on what she said I wasn't at school in Friday when they broke up then later that day my friend came over and we called him and he asked me out again I told him I would tell him once I asked my friend so I called my friend and she said it was fine and she wouldn't get mad. I called him back saying yes then after I got of f the phone with him I got a call from my friends friend saying like what is your prob and stuff so I apologized 2 my friend this was like 1 month ago and she still hasn't forgiven me. her birthday is coming up is it ok to give her a present pretending nothing happened.

IGNORE shet_driftn!!!! what you should do is get her a small gift and say something like I want to still be your friend, if you do. and then go from there. I have friend troubles ALL THE TIME in some right now. anyhow I think that you DID GIVE her some time to cool off, which was good, but now try to talk to her to c her side of the story if you havent. good luck friends are tough to have sometimes. fun mail me bac!!
