This method of supposed contraception is called "withdrawal". It is very ineffective, and commonly results in the pregnancy of one in five couples practicing it.
I would suggest that if either of you have any objections towards condoms, you should explore other forms of contraceptives. There are many, including:
Contraceptive creams, foams, jelly & suppositories,
Contraceptive Sponges,
Depo-Provera (Hormonal Injections) & Lunelle- A monthly hormonal injection,
Diaphragms,
The Pill,
Spermicides,
and "The Patch".
I would highly recommend that the both of you book an appointment at a family planning clinic, where you will get advice on all these forms of contraception, and the both of you can decide which is the best for you.
If you feel too embarrassed to attend a meeting such as this, then frankly, you are far too immature to be having sex.
To be honest, your lack of knowledge about your own sexual health and well being demonstrates that you really shouldn't be engaging in sexual activity regardless.
ONLY condoms protect you from STDs.
