How to handle my boyfriend being locked up?

emotional wreck. people think im over reacting. but they dont understand. this is a really hard thing to get through, but I told him I would stay strong. I dont know if I can handle this. I feel like just staying in my room.. its like if I do something, or have fun..I feel guilty.. help?

you shouldn't feel guilty just 'cause your boyfriend did some idiotic things. what are you going to do, sit alone in your room for two years? don't let his jail time stop you from having fun... you gotta learn to be a bit more independent.

If he does not learn to grow up then why would you stay with someone that is only there to hold you back? You should not spend a day to where you feel like you're going no-where in life. Yes you can wait for him, but why? Just say we'll pick up right where we left off if I haven't found anybody but I'm not going to stop my life because you decided to stop yours.
