My best friend fell out of love with me

I met a girl in college. We were friends at first. Couple months past and she confessed she had alotta feelings for me. Eventually we became close, bestfriends. She eventually had loving feelings for me. After a while I opened up to her and I fell in love with her too. So we started to being together. Then were together for 1 year. Point is we became bestfriends and soulmates. She calls me her everything. Bestfriend. I see her that way too. Well one day she started to notice things she didnt like. Questioned my assertivness, leadership qualities, and question whether I was the strong father figure she was looking for. She was a single mom by the way. Well one day she tell me shes not in love with me anymore. The flame is gone. Passion is gone. And how she can only see me as her bestfriend. Only love me as a bestfriend.

How can this happen? How can someone fall out of love with there bestfriend? Is this possible? Will I ever get her back?
