My best friends boyfriend hates me

Kk well as you know my best friends boyfriend hates me and well maybe he has good reason because like I told him that I would never date an ugly guy. But every1 has there own taste I mean I might think my boyfriend(ny the way I dont actually have a boyfriend its just an example) is the sexiest thing ever and someone else might think hes the ugliest but thats all part of the process of acception and rejection right? And well maybe that wasnt the full reason he hates me because I also said I could tell a guy I loved him but I wasnt sure if I could mean it. And yeh sure thts not the bestest thing to say but I only said it because well I've never had a boyfriend and my best friend and her boyfriend asked me if I WOULD ever tell a guy I loved him and that was my answer. Yes it was a stupid one but im scared of sharing my feelings with people especially guys boyfirends in particular and I've never told a guy I loved them before and I dont no what its like. But anyway getting back to my problem of how my best friends boyfriend doesnt like me well I dont care that much I mean im not dating him but it still hurts a little bit you know him and my bestie are heaps close what if they get married. I mean come on he hates me. (the exact words he used was your shallow)

well you did sound a little shallow but its not a bad thing...so youre not ready to share your feelings thats okay...if hes retarded enough that he can't see that then dont pay any attention to him

Well, telling someone that you will never date an ugly guy is shallow. Besides, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You might someday find someone that you really like that other people find ugly (physically) but they might have the best personality so it makes them beautiful or handsome. Personality plays a big part in relationships. Going out with a handsome/beautiful person is great but if they are boring then how long is the relationship really going to last?

Maybe you should explain yourself to him better. If he still doesn't like you then that's his problem. Just tell him that while you know he doesn't like you he needs to keep his feelings (about you) to himself to your best friend will not be hurt.
