I like breaking alexander, its my favorite, but dont worry a lot of the best bands have random names, my band is called rockets and unicorns, so ya know? all that matters is the music

I think that a good name cannot weather bad music...but, like the cover of a book it will be scrutinized and attract attention that may not be attained otherwise.

Music is so easily acquired these days that a name may only serve to be a easily recognizable bookmark...so it needs to be short and succinct.

You have to feel like it speaks for your music...even if it is the disdain for equating names of bands with their music...the name should impart this...sounds stupid but...people can pick up on these things and this may attract the audience you seek.

having said all that...I kind of like the current name and Fall of Disaster as well...reminds me of The Winter of our Discontent
