Why isn't my answer registering?

Clearing the Gene Pool Asked by bimjob 6 months ago, 3 answers.

Danbob, is something wierd with the site? There was a question a few min. ago 'Math help ' which I answered, it's in my profile as having answered it, but when I go into the original question my answer is not there. If I 'view all' on my profile I see the first several lines of my answer, but if I click on the question there, I am again taken to where there is no answer. [I did use 2 different ascii codes, and maybe that is the problem. (Alt-hold 253, and alt-hold 251 - for superscript 2, and sq.rt. sign)]

I also noticed on that question and several others, the layout was different - a block of ads directly below the question and THEN the answer box ... and no box to uncheck that said, “Email me when this topic gets updated”. And a few other odd things like the page doesn’t recognize me as signed in!

This might be a question more suited to econsult1 or thedude. If so feel free to pitch it to them.

Thank you in advance for your time.

I'm glad the answer got through, but I even re-booted my computer and it still doesn't show. Oh well.
Up, up, and away !!!
Thanks for the reply.

We have a caching issue that impacts some version of internet explorer, which we are working on. A refresh of the page should show your answer.
