My angry parrot

I have a senegal parrot who bites anyone who goes near his cage. I have him 3 years now and he still hasnt calmed. I cant even pet him. Plus, he screeches when anyone comes into the room and he has never spoken. We give him nothing but love and care and he even goes to bite me when I am putting food in his cage. Anyone got the same problem. Or more to the point! Anyone want him because I give up..

awww. my friend has a parrot and it is actually very calm and cool. but my friend got it when it was still a baby. She needed to feed it out of a bottle and everything and it looked very weird because it didn't have feathers yet. Did you get it when it was a few weeks old or did you get it when it already was an adult? My friend told me if you get it when its a baby it'll get more used to you and be more calm and nicer. So, I don't know how you can stop your parrot from being evil. I'm sorry.

This is NOT abuse, but this will help you to tame your parrot. hen your parrot goes to bite you, smack him on the head with your finger. Don't do it too hard, though. I did this with my parakeet, and when he bites me, I give him few little smacks and he stops.
