My 2 friends are mad at me because of a guy help

I have these 2 friends lets say there names are jessie & katie well they both like my best guy friend & me & him are really close I mean really close lets say his name is jeff well jeff doesnt like neither one of them & jessie never talks to jeff & jeff isnt going to talk to her unless she talks to him first & him & katie hardly ever see each other But jessie told katie that she hates me & I think its because me & jeff are always together & one day he put me to the locker like he was about to make out with me but he wasnt & she saw & I think that made her mad! And I didnt know that katie still liked him & I would tell her everything that would happen bewteen me & him & I asked her what I should do about jessie being mad at me she said well if your flirting maybe you should stop flirting with him but I cant help it if I flirt! I've never had a guy that was my best friend & now I do & I feel like everyone is trying to take that away from me & theres not that many guys who give me the attetion that jeff does I do like him more then just a friend but I wouldnt want to ruin our friendship & my friendship with katie & jessie so what should I do they dont think I like him in that way! Help

If Katie didn't tell you how she feels about Jeff then you cannot be responsible for her getting her feelings hurt.

Why not be straight up with Jessie and Katie. Tell them you and Jeff are friends, but if it turned into more that'd be okay with you. If Katie and Jessie get angry and cut you out over a guy they aren't even with--well that let's you know that they aren't really true friends.

Seems like you can either cut Jeff lose to try and appease your two girl friends, be honest with the girls and see if they'll respect your feelings.

It sound like this guy likes you. Your friends are just jealous. Why aren't they mad at each other for liking the same dude? They can be mad at you but not each other. That's stupid. Do what you want to do because if your friends become mad over something like this then they aren't true friends. Flirting is fun. If you enjoy flirting with this boy and you also have a crush on him then go with the flow. He'll decide what he wants. If he wanted to hang out with your two friends and not you he would.
