Music today sucks.

Why does music today suck so much. Today people listen to new bands such as Fall Out Boy, Jonas Brothers, Panic At The Disco, etc. All of these bands are crap. What happened to god music being famous. Dream Theater is made up of musical gods, and people...

discard them for the newest crap Soulja Boy pusches out of his a**. What happened to people listeneing to good music?

Well, I hate to be the broken record, but everyone's musical taste is different, it just all depends on opinion. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the Jonas Brothers or Fall Out Boy, which is what most people my age listen to.

But since I'm still in High School, it's hard to find people who share my taste in music. Kasabian, Buzzcocks, The Libertines, The Filthy Youth... no one I know has heard of them and no one cares. It's just how it goes.

Hang in there; there ARE people out there who share your taste in music. Eventually you WIll find them, and the experience will be pleasant

okay well people can have different opinions on who they listen to! so that doesn't make ANYONE a freak. personally I don't care for the jonas brothers either but I do like Soulja Boy.

There's still plenty of good music on the alternate charts. Pop has always sucked.

The jonas brothers are only known by people who have austar, I've never even seen any of their music videos on [V] or anything. toadaly, since when has pop always sucked? The Beatles were pop, and so was ABBA, and look at all the hype that surrounded them (especialy so with ABBA, seeing as they were four middle aged swedes with terrible dress sense). GOOD pop music is good.

I hate a lot of new bands...bvut mostly hip hop...
all full of fast cars, money, drugs guns half naked girls...its disgusting
the lyrics are apauling, and then kids go out immitating the things they see
the bands you mentioned though I dont really have a problem with
but I am sick of everyone saying how good the jonas brothers are
however,,,its just like in the 90's when everyone liked the backstreet boys and nsync
...give it another 5 years...a lot of peoples music tastes change as they grow up

We all like different kinds of music, I don't like The Jonas, and the inmature little girls up, need to go to bed earlier. But I don't like Panic, or FOB either, so I mostly listen to Metro Station, I really like them , pop BOy Bands just get popular because of their looks,
