Music music music!!

I've been writing music for forever but I don't know how to get my lyrics out there in the world and have people listen when I sing, so how do I do this?

Yeah, strangely enough a lot of people have been discovered through YouTube.

Another way to get noticed would be to look for people that can play music to accompany your singing. Form a band and try to get booked to perform at different clubs or bars, wherever someone wants you to play. The more people hear you, the better.

youtube and myspace are amazing for that
if you go to school sell ( or give away for free ) cds
people ( not just yer friends ) will pick em up
